We believe shipping should be simple, fair, and easy to understand. No hidden fees, no surprises.

Order Confirmation
Once you place an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email straight away.
This means we’ve received your order and your payment has been pre‑authorised.
We then check that all items are in stock and ready to ship.
- If everything is available, we’ll process your payment and prepare your order.
- If something is out of stock or on backorder, we’ll contact you by email to discuss the next steps. If needed, we’ll cancel the payment hold.
Order Dispatch
We usually dispatch orders within 1 business day.
In some cases, it may take up to 3 business days, depending on the product and warehouse location.
Once your order has been sent, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.
If you haven’t received a shipping confirmation within 4 business days, please contact us at

Made‑To‑Order Products
Some items may be specially made or prepared after you order them.
If this applies, the dispatch time will be clearly shown on the product page under the description. Please allow extra time for these items to be prepared before shipping.
Delivery Timeframes (Australia)
Delivery times depend on your location. As a general guide:
- 2–5 business days – Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra (Metro)
- 3–8 business days – Regional NSW, VIC, QLD & SA
- 7–12 business days – NT, TAS, WA & remote areas
These timeframes are a guide only and may vary during busy periods.
Multiple Items in One Order
Some items may ship from different warehouses.
This means:
- Your order may arrive in more than one parcel
- Items may be delivered on different days
You will receive tracking details for each shipment.
If No One Is Home
If no one is available to receive your delivery:
- The courier may leave a card with instructions for re‑delivery or collection
- If you choose Authority to Leave, the parcel will be left in a safe place
- Once the parcel is left, responsibility transfers to you
Large or Heavy Items
If your order includes large or heavy items (over 40kg):
- These items are delivered on pallets
- Delivery is made to the front of your property only
- Couriers cannot move items inside your home or business
Please make sure you have help available to move the item after delivery.
Delivery Times
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
We can’t provide exact delivery times, but tracking will help you know which day to expect your order.
Safe & Accessible Delivery
For pallet deliveries:
- A flat, clear access path is required
- Gates should be at least 1.4m wide
- If access isn’t safe, the driver may leave the pallet at the nearest safe point (such as the nature strip)
This is to keep everyone safe.
PO Boxes
We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
Please provide a residential or business address at checkout.
International Orders
Our products are made for the Australian market (240V) and comply with Australian standards.
We’re happy to ship internationally.
Because shipping costs vary, please email us at support@diysalon.com.au to request a shipping quote.
If you’re happy with the quote, we’ll arrange payment through our secure checkout.
Damaged Deliveries
Please check your order as soon as it arrives.
- If the packaging is damaged, note this with the courier before signing, or refuse delivery
- If you accept the delivery, take clear photos of the damage immediately
Email photos to support@diysalon.com.au, then visit our Returns Policy page to lodge a claim.
